Hiiiiii. Previously I posted a note on nature excursion outfit ideas, well last weekend I made an excursion of my own, down to the green green grass of Ireland. I tried and tested the art of living outdoors whilst not looking like a female hitch hiker. This meant minimal baggage and practical clothing, because of course if i tried to too hard, I'd, well look like I was trying too hard, and I'd be told off for trying too hard when I should of course be enjoying the outdoors! So I didn't make too much of a fuss, whacking out my dad's North Face waterproof if completely necessary and, yuck, wearing my Hi-Tec Lady lite walking boots if also necessary. To be honest I did have a few hitchhiker moments, evidence just happened to burn in camp fire so haphazardly will never be seen here. hmf. BUT all in all my narcisstic self was happy enoughin, I felt like me and so got to have the most amazing camping holiday with no fuss and all fun! Whooo! Recommending camp trips to Ireland to everyone.

sixties is back again again again

I adore anything and everything sixties, music fashion film hair, Michael Caine, everything. So I'm especially happy that Topshop's #3 trend for autumn is sixties inspired, Factory Girl. Meaning I get to dress people up a la Sedgewick and faithful and get myself some beaut dog-toothed, polo-neck uniform at discount prices. yaaaay!

Thought I'd do a wee post here on the key bits influencing my late British summer/autumn wardrobe.

Loving printed trousers atm, stocked up in bulk with this months wages, if only I had a better camera and location to take pictures, the shots would be glorious! But in the meantime, this is me in the staff room corridor, I was in all day that day and made it through quite happily in this outfit, day to night, and the next morning: still feeling fabulous!

Damp, walking weather is the worst to dress for, and I'm in it all the time. My beau is always at me to dress practical whereas I'm pretty keen to always be ready for a photo op. Key pieces are definately wax jackets, comfy trainers and a rucksack. Heres a wee Polyvore I've done and intend to invest in the moment the bank mixes up my details with the prime minister's and I get a big transfer. whooop
